Boren Scholarship (BA) & Fellowship

Michael Saffle, coordinator for the Boren Awards, will be here to discuss the Boren Scholarship (BA) and Fellowship (MA) programs. Boren Awardees study a wide range of critical languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, and Swahili. They study in world areas underrepresented in study abroad, and graduate with expertise in their chosen fields of study, language, and the cultures of Africa, Asia, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Boren Awardees are committed to public service. Boren awardees commit to working in international and national security positions throughout the Federal Government.
