Chipman Hill Hike (with buns!) With AFC Outdoors
–
Off Campus
The Anderson Freeman Resource Center (AFC) is the heart of a community of care and support for students from historically underrepresented groups. We proudly serve and support:
- Students of Color
- First-Generation College Students
- Students from Low-Income Backgrounds
- Students from any other group who have been historically underrepresented or marginalized in United States higher education
This is an event reserved for students served and supported by the AFC.
Get a great view of Middlebury from Chipman Hill on this roughly 2-mile round trip hike! Follow the Trail Around Middlebury (TAM) through downtown Midd and up to the highest point in town. Points of interest include pillars from the college’s first ski lifts and two lookout points over the town. Be prepared with closed-toed hiking shoes or boots as the path is a mix of gravel and dirt. This is an easier hike with some elevation gain. At the top, we’ll enjoy the view east and eat some buns from Haymaker!
