Clare Cushman - Supreme Court historian: 5 Things You Didn't Know about the Supreme Court

As Director of Publications at the Supreme Court Historical Society, Clare Cushman oversees a media program designed to educate the public about the history of the Supreme Court. As author of the critically acclaimed book Courtwatchers: Eyewitness Anecdotes in Supreme Court History (2011), Cushman has been called “one of our most distinguished and experienced veteran Supreme Court observers.” In addition to editing and regularly contributing to the Journal of Supreme Court History, she has also written numerous textbooks and reference books, produced documentaries, and edited memoirs pertaining to the Court’s history.
