Center for Education in Action (EIA) four-session workshop. What does applying to college look like for students lacking the resources and support to navigate the complex process and paperwork? Given the economic climate and rising rates of tuition, some may even question whether the cost is worth the benefits. This workshop is designed to create dialogue to identify and explore the various challenges facing American youth today in applying for college. In addition to examining a variety of articles, documentaries, and personal perspectives on college access, we will also explore the concept of college-positive volunteerism (CVP) as a first step in addressing these challenges.
