Alexey Tokarev, professor and analyst a the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), is giving three lectures at MIIS as part of the Graduate Initiative in Russian Studies (GIRS). At this seminar, Dr. Tokarev will apply his field research findings to analyze the evolution of the conflict between Donbass separatists and Ukrainian government.
Dr. Tokarev is a professor and analyst at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). Since 2013, Tokarev has worked as a senior research fellow in MGIMO’s Center for Global Problems, and has also been a visiting professor at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Moscow International University.
