David Bain

Conqueror Root performs from the American roots catalog of blues, New Orleans, rockabilly, old R&B, and vintage jazz. The trio consists of Dennis Willmott (guitar, vocals), leader of Left Eye Jump Blues Band and monthly blues jams at 51 Main and Richmond’s On the Rise Bakery; David Bain (piano, vocals), who has been soloing rhythm & blues and old timey jazz for decades; and Dwight Ritcher (drums, vocals), who has fronted his own band for years and is one-half of the breakout duo Dwight & Nicole with “The Voice” winner Nicole Nelson.
