Detroit ’67 Performance
Detroit ‘67, honored with the 2014 Kennedy Prize for Drama Inspired by American History, is the first play in the Detroit trilogy by award-winning playwright Dominique Morisseau. Set to the Motown music that originated right in Detroit, this play explores an explosive and decisive moment in a great American city using compelling characters who struggle with racial tension and economic instability.
