The Evolvement of Chinese Nationalism and its Foreign Policy Implications
In the second lecture of our China speaker series this spring, join Professor Suisheng Zhao from the University of Denver to discuss the evolution of Chinese nationalism and its implications on foreign policy. Professor Zhao will explore the history of Chinese nationalism and how this sentiment affects how the Chinese Government acts in its foreign policy. In particular, he will speak on how this ethnic pride contributed to the founding of New China as well as its contemporary effect on domestic and overseas Chinese students today.
