Join us for a reception to mark the opening of the exhibition Black Is, Black Ar’nt: Defining and Resisting through Art. Through paintings, photographs, and prints, Tamir Williams ‘16, Najwa Stanford ‘16, and Chicago-based artist, educator, and activist Turtel Onli challenge historical and contemporary definitions of Blackness. Refreshments will be served.

Black Is, Black Ar’nt runs through March 4, 2016 in Center Gallery (2nd floor of McCullough Student Center, between The Grille and Wilson Hall).
