Fall Family Weekend Special Collections Open House

Home to rare books and manuscripts from a 4,000-year-old Cuneiform tablet to contemporary artists’ books, Special Collections serves as a research laboratory for the history of the book and material culture; in addition to collecting and preserving the history of the College, as custodians for Middlebury College’s history and the Middlebury College Archives.

Visit our open house after checking out the Pop-Up! exhibit on the main level of the Library. We’ll welcome students and families to the Reading Room anytime between 11:00am-3:00pm to see the pop-ups that didn’t make it into the exhibit and experience them in action, chat with our staff, tour our space, and learn more about our collections!
