Free Workshop on The Art of Shibori, or Shaped-Resist Dyeing

Join us on Thursday, March 6 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. for a free workshop on the art of shibori, or shaped-resist dyeing. Open to Midd ID holders with priority given to students.

Participants will have the option to practice one of two techniques, itajime or arashi, and will learn about the cultural history and context of this art form that dates back to the 8th century. You will be able to take home one finished project as well as some snacks!
