Google Workshop: Social Sciences as Applied to Market Research Services + Advertising Solutions
Think a Psychology or Sociology & Anthropology major wouldn’t have much relevance to a career at Google? Think again. This discussion will be in two parts; first to provide some real market examples of how social sciences are applied to market research services and advertising solutions. Jason Grout ‘07 and Caryn LoCastro ‘07 will also speak about their own experiences from Middlebury to their current roles at Google, and will discuss some of the various careers at Google that have specific relevance to someone with an academic background in social sciences (not just econ).
