The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to seriously ill children and their families throughout the Northeast, free of charge. It’s a community that celebrates the fun, friendship and spirit of childhood where every kid can “raise a little hell.” Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, he had one simple premise in mind, that every child, no matter their illness, could experience the transformational spirit and friendships that go hand in hand with camp. Our goal is to ensure that every child with a serious medical condition has the chance to experience the world of possibilities that camp has to offer. Through the generosity of others, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp community provides this unique healing experience to our campers and their families through its Summer Camp and Hero’s Journey programs, as well as our Spring and Fall Family Weekends and year-round outreach programs. Applications for Summer Cabin Counselor, Program Staff, Hero’s Journey Program Staff, and Volunteer positions are available January 1st, 2016 at www.holeinthewallgang.org . Our summer season runs (approximately) from June 1st to August 21st (including a one-week orientation prior to the start of programs). We have 12 and 8-week paid positions or 1-week volunteer positions available. Additional volunteer opportunities and available full time positions can be found on our website.
