Kelly Dane Briggs ‘99 has had a multi-faceted career. Nearly a decade ago she landed at a Big Four accounting agency, KPMG, and to her surprise, she stayed. In this session, Kelly is excited to sit down with students to share insights from her time working at everything from start-ups to large multinational companies and to reflect on the way unconscious bias can easily seep into what we assume about where we might work. In 25 years of working with good and bad bosses, having crazy opportunities, and making hard decisions, she has also learned how to make her personal life work alongside professional responsibilities. Kelly looks forward to having honest conversations and diving into some tips for how not to judge a company by its ‘it factor’, and for making a good impression in the workplace, while still having a life.
