Perspectives on the Designed Environment

Andrea, Ashar, and Susannah will present examples of recent work and discuss their efforts in using design to inspire people to care more about our built and natural environments. Presenters will describe processes, challenges, and successes for practicing architecture and landscape architecture in more rural Vermont as compared to the urban context of New York City. Topics of conversation will include land use, resource conservation, planning for density, details and logistics, and beauty.
