“Expressway to (In)equity: Environmental Justice, Community Engagement & Urban Redevelopment” by Lemir Teron, Assistant Professor, Environmental Studies, SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry.

This talk will explore environmental justice considerations related to urban redevelopment along with its examination of US urban planning’s history of exacerbating inequality and perpetuating marginalization. It will highlight the synthesis of Dr. Teron’s research, service and teaching activities as a model for community engagement and environmental education.
