Ingoma Auditions

“Ingoma”, meaning “song” in the South African Zulu language, is Middlebury College’s one and only Afro-pella group. We rehearse two to three times a week and focus specifically on the vibrant, soulful music of the African continent and diaspora. Our singers hail from all over the world: from Brazil and Botswana to China and Germany. We invite all Middlebury students interested in trying something new to drop in and audition with us: prepare a few verses of a song, and you’re good to go!
