Four people standing near a piano; one is holding a saxophone

Experience an exciting collaborative concert featuring eclectic music from classic jazz to classic rock including reharmonized standards. Affiliate Artist Miles Donahue and his students Scott Li ’24, Terry Luongo ’25 and Julia Ulsh ’24 showcase performance skills in listening, harmony, accompaniment, and improvisation as they perform the music of Depeche Mode.

They will be joined by guest artists of the Miles Donahue Quartet: Chilean electric bass player Gerson Lanzo-Quiroga; Berklee College of Music pianist Steve Hunt; Berklee percussionist Larry Finn; and local guitar great Brian Maple.

Donahue is a Middlebury College Affiliate Artist who teaches jazz improv for all instruments and pop piano, and has taught the winter-term course The Music of Motown. He has authored The Jazz Workbook, published by Mel Bay Books, has been published multiple times in Jazz Ed magazine, and is a prolific composer.

Free and open to all.
