Joy and Grief Run Parallel
Submission #16924 | Middlebury
// // \x3C/script>”) //—>// \x3C/script>”) //—>// Caitlin Myers is an economics professor at Middlebury. In 2011 her family was on a summer road trip when another driver suddenly crossed the center line and hit their vehicle head on, killing her husband and injuring one of her young sons. Caitlin will describe what happened on that day when the course of her and her children’s’ lives forever changed, and in the months and years that followed. She will describe not “getting over” or “past” grief, but learning to live a meaningful and joyful life in parallel to it.- Sponsored by:
