"Just.Another.Month" - Filmscreening with Q&A

The award-winning short documentary “Just.Another.Month.” deals with the topic of period poverty and the stigmatization of menstruation in Namibia. Many women suffer not only from a lack of adequate menstrual hygiene products, but above all from the fact that menstruation is seen as something impure. The filmmakers Charlotte Weinreich and Rosa-Lena Lange have accompanied two Namibian activists with their camera who offer a perspective for change and a call to action.
The MIIS student initiative End Period Poverty, together with the director Charlotte Weinreich, organized this film screening followed by a Q&A. The idea of this event is to generate a greater understanding of the problem, raise awareness as well as start a discussion about the global tabooing of menstruation.
