V499 Van Buren Videoconference Rm

Closed to the Public

In 2018, the United States has employed a number of powerful trade weapons against its trading partners. Free Trade Agreements are being renegotiated. Indeed, the WTO is under threat of U.S. abandonment. What lies ahead for U.S international trade policy in 2019?

The Center for Careers and Internships and Middlebury in DC in collaboration with the Middlebury Professional Network bring you a discussion among several professionals with different vantage points on the turbulent waters of international trade.

This discussion will be broadcast from our office in DC to both the Middlebury and Monterey campuses. The panel professionals will discuss the realities influencing trade decisions and their own paths from campus to career. The alumni panelists include:
Jennifer Sanford (MAIPS ‘95), Trade Director, Cisco
Jonathan Chesebro (MC ’01), Senior International Trade Specialist, U.S. Dept. of Commerce
Marco Sotelino (MC ‘04), Economic Officer, Canada Desk, U.S. State Department
