This mandatory one-hour in-person training will provide information and resources for all students taking part in internships this summer that are funded or sponsored by the Center for Careers and Internships.
Topics covered will include grant requirements, as well as resources and tips to help you prepare for and be successful in your internship. This session is required whether you are taking part in a remote, hybrid, or in-person internship. Attendance will be taken and those missing the session due to extenuating circumstances and conflicts must be excused by Cheryl Whitney Lower ahead of time. Any student who has not attended or been excused ahead of time will risk losing their funding. Please note: This session is required for all CCI-funded and sponsored interns; some interns may be required to attend additional program-specific trainings as well.
Presented by Peggy Burns and Cheryl Whitney Lower, Center for Careers and Internships, and a panel of previous interns.
