Marcelo Hanta-Davis Quintet: Standards and Originals Night

Saxophonist, Composer, and Vermont Allstate Jazz Performance Scholarship recipient Marcelo Hanta-Davis will be leading this accomplished quintet including Caleb Benz (Alto Sax), Oziah Wales (Piano), Phil Hoxie (Bass), and Micah Rubin (Drums). The jazz quintet uses musical ideas of the present to explore eclectic styles of the past from Swing to Bossa Nova. The set will include originals, standards, and music that calls for audience participation.
