As stated on their website, “Mariachi Buhos de Oro was founded in August 2015 by Alejandro Sifuentes, vihuelist and singer. Most of the members studied either Music Performance or Music Education at Kennesaw State University. Our dynamic group is made up of 10 talented and passionate players who have loved music all of their life. For us, mariachi music is about the beauty of Mexican music, every time we perform, we are celebrating Mexican culture… We provide a service that honors the spirit of mariachi that was developed in the 18th century. We have spent the past two years learning the style of mariachi to bring you the experience of a genuine mariachi.”
