Callie Kimball is an award-winning, internationally produced playwright, educator, actor, director, and movement coach. Her plays have been produced and developed in New York, Chicago, LA, and DC, at the Kennedy Center, MCC Theater, Lark Play Development Center, Portland Stage Company, Washington Shakespeare Company, Washington Stage Guild, Project Y, Theater at Monmouth, The Drama League, and elsewhere. She is a MacDowell Fellow, has won the Goldberg Playwriting Award and Clauder Gold Prize, and has been a finalist for the O’Neill and Princess Grace Awards. She teaches playwriting at Bates College, and has taught or been a guest at Kings College London Shakespeare Centre, ACS International Schools in London, National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, Bowdoin College, and Colby College. She earned her MFA at Hunter College, and her BA at the College of William and Mary.
