To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Latin America (also known as Treaty of Tlatelolco), the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS), the Consulate General of Mexico in San Jose, and the Middlebury Institute of International Studies will host a commemorative photo exhibit and opening guest talk by Ambassador Joel Hernandez, Director General for the UN System at the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs. This special event will be held on Friday, February 17th, in the Videoconference Room of the CNS Building at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (499 Van Buren Street in downtown Monterey), at 5:00 PM. The event is open to the MIIS community and the public.
