Professional skiers and riders from Teton Gravity Research (TGR) pose in various costumes in a group shot with a skier doing a backflip above them while holding flaming torches. The title of the ski film is Actually, It Is Rocket Science.

The Middlebury Ski and Snowboard Club (MSSC) presents Actually, It Is Rocket Science, the 31st annual ski film produced by Teton Gravity Research (TGR). This event is a ticketed fundraiser for MSSC, a Middlebury community non-profit established in 1956.

$20 Adult / $15 Student / $10 Kids

Actually, It Is Rocket Science is a tongue-in-cheek look at the seemingly reckless abandon that many of the world’s best snow athletes display as they push the physics of what is possible. Athletes explore the intricacies of dissecting a big mountain line, the physics and amplitude of a massive gap, calculating transition, and the force of gravity.
