Pedro de Lemos was a life-long artist and designer who organized all his activities around the practice and promotion of hand-made objects and environments. He was a prominent artist with a rare talent for leadership, expressed in multiple ways from the domestic to the national and international arenas. This talk will focus on how Pedro’s beliefs and principles shaped his family life as well as professional positions and accomplishments. A book signing of Burton-Carvajal’s new publication, Artists’ Honeymoon, will follow the lecture.
