We would like to invite you to join us in learning more about TNC’s 2018 GLOBE internships! Shawneece Hennighan - Youth Programs Coordinator with TNC - will be hosting an information session on November 14, (Weds.). Hear about Middlebury’s 3 paid summer internships with a focus on: climate change policy in Washington, DC, urban agriculture in Chicago, and GIS research in Alaska—all working to advance conservation and develop the next generation of climate game changers!

Every year, Growing Leaders on Behalf of the Environment (GLOBE) hires undergraduate students, graduate students, or recent graduates to fill 30 paid internship positions during ten weeks in the summer. These positions are available throughout the United States and provide a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academics and real-world conservation work. Their goal is to empower the next generation of conservation leaders and broaden the conservation workforce so that TNC’s staff, volunteers, members, trustees, donors, and conservation practices better reflect the diversity of people and communities they intend to serve.

For more information, the internships can be found posted on Handshake, use keyword “GLOBE”.
