Open Door Clinic Volunteer Training

Become a General Volunteer or a Medical Interpreter for the Open Door Clinic!
The Open Door Clinic is a free medical clinic for uninsured and underinsured low-income individuals in Addison County. No minimal time commitment is required. General volunteers will assist with reception and other administrative tasks at clinics and/or in the office, including marketing projects. Medical Interpreter Volunteers will facilitate written and oral communication for the approximately 50% of clinic patients with Limited English Proficiency (LEP), primarily Spanish speakers. This is a great opportunity to be involved in the delivery of culturally-diverse health care!
