Have you been curious how Peace Corps really makes a difference? Would you like a more specific explanation of how development work is carried out in Peace Corps? You should join this session! Peace Corps Recruiter Zoe Armstrong is coming to campus to provide a concise description of Peace Corps efforts – including videos! This is an opportunity for prospective volunteers to reflect on what the Peace Corps approach to development can mean for their service. Through 2 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer you will learn a lot about sustainable development as a practicing development professional. You can help empower leadership in the community in which you serve and adapt appropriate technologies together to create tangible results. There are different international organizational approaches to development; come hear about Peace Corps’ unique methodology to meet sustainable development goals. You must be at least 18 years of age and a US Citizen to serve in Peace Corps. (Sponsored by the Center for Careers & Internships)
