Here at Middlebury, we have a small community of student friends dedicated to Quaker values of peace, equality, social justice, inclusion and simplicity. This Sunday afternoon at 5 o’clock our group will meet for our weekly worship in the Scott Center for Spiritual and Religious Life, in Hathaway House (next door to Admissions). There will be tea and conversation, followed by a period of silent reflection. If you’re interested in learning more about Quakers or would just like to take some time out of your schedule for some intentional peace in a friendly environment, please drop by one of our meetings. Don’t worry if you know nothing about Quakerism, we’re more than happy to welcome newcomers and to explain our tradition. We hope to see you this Sunday!
