Join Molly Conover ‘22 as she discusses her experience as a Quaker Voluntary Service fellow. Quaker Voluntary Service is a year-long fellowship program in which young adults between the ages of 21 and 30 build intentional communities, work full-time at social service and social change agencies, and explore themes of spiritual and personal growth with local Quakers. Fellows receive housing, transportation, food, support for health and wellness (including access to health insurance if needed), and a small stipend while engaging in regular self-led workshops and retreats that allow for continuing education in social justice, faith, and community-building topics. Molly will present her experience as a QVS Fellow in Boston and provide a general introduction to the program which also runs in Minneapolis, MN, Portland, OR, Philadelphia PA, and Atlanta, GA. All are welcome to join this info session and apply for a fellowship with QVS– no experience or affiliation with Quakerism is required.
