Relational Learning: Transforming Students Into Change Agents

Victor J. Friedman, co-chair of the Action Research Center for Social Justice at the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College, Israel, will share his three decades of work in educating effective social, political, cultural, and economic change agents. The talk will focus on the importance of what Professor Friedman calls “relational learning.” If you are a professor, you will leave with ideas that you can incorporate into your classroom; if you are a student, you will leave with ideas about how you can nudge your professors to incorporate alternative approaches!
