Dyann DelVecchio ‘91 from Seyfarth Shaw LLP will hold a career conversation. Biography Dyann DelVecchio represents corporations, educational institutions, and research institutions in connection with obtaining work visas for professional employees. She also assists performing artists and athletes in obtaining immigrant and non-immigrant visas. Dyann serves as a frequent panelist and trainer, has co-authored a number of articles on immigration law, and is often interviewed by the press on issues relating to immigration. She has been active in the area of immigration law for over twenty years, beginning with a position at Boston’s Berklee College of Music. As International Student Advisor, she developed the first program of legal services for the college’s large international student community. In 1997 the college honored her with an award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to international education and good will. Following graduation from law school, Dyann served for two years as a Law Clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and NAFSA: Association of International Educators. She is the current Chair of AILA’s national F-1 Student and Scholars Committee, and previously served on AILA’s Department of Labor Liaison Committee as well as its Vermont Service Center Liaison Committee.
