Virtual Middlebury

Closed to the Public

Team4Tech is a Silicon Valley-based nonprofit that helps education-focused NGOs working in the developing world to increase their impact and improve the quality of education in their local communities through technology solutions and training. Since 2013, Team4Tech has provided over $13M in grants and pro bono consulting to 35 NGOs in 19 countries, benefitting 110,000 students and teachers. This has been possible through 85 capacity-building projects with more than 800 volunteers from 19 leading tech companies and universities.

Team4Tech’s response to the COVID19 crisis has been to provide remote support for our NGO network as they navigate a rapid and turbulent transition to online learning. This summer, Team4Tech is offering a unique virtual internship opportunity to a team of university students to work with several of our nonprofit partners in Sub-Saharan Africa. Students interested in education, technology, and/or international development who want to gain real world skills in helping to devise and deliver remote solutions to educational NGOs will find the internship valuable. This will be the fifth year Middlebury is partnering with Team4Tech to offer summer internships. Come hear about the program from last year’s participants, as well as Paul Campbell, the Middlebury Team4Tech Program Director.
