U.S. Department of State Recruitment and Outreach Officer Jim Ellickson-Brown will be available for informational interviews and conduct an information session on internships, fellowships and careers during a visit to Middlebury College Wednesday, September 25.

The mission of the U.S. Department of State is to shape and sustain a peaceful, prosperous, just, and democratic world and foster conditions for stability and progress for the benefit of the American people and people everywhere. Middlebury students interested in learning how their own educational, educational and cultural backgrounds, perspectives and knowledge can contribute to the important work are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.

Important note: Students who are considering applying for the U.S. Department Student Internship Program for Summer 2016 are reminded that the application deadline is Friday, October 16. In addition to an overview of the internship program, Mr. Ellickson-Brown will provide detailed information and guidance that will assist students in determining which opportunities to compete for and strategies for developing a strong application.
