Open to the Public

Do you ever wish that you could enjoy a speech about Queer Critiques of Anarchism by a fellow student at Middlebury? It’s your lucky day! This Thursday at 8PM in Chellis House, one student will analyze Queer Critiques of Anarchism. You will experience a powerful display of rhetoric and you WILL be entertained.

Anarchism is an anti-authoritarian political philosophy. Queer critiques destabilize identities and center non-normative sexualities, genders, and other “deviations” from norms. You all live in a political regime, don’t you? And surely you must admit that you occupy a subject position vis-a-vis sexuality, gender, and other norms? This is thusly a matter of vital importance to all. You had better attend to stay current on this hot-button topic!

So come on down to that time-honored Hillcrest Orchard, and feel the mellifluous vibrations of speech wash over your bodymind, allowing the experience to enter your soul. This will be the highpoint of your entire life and you will cherish these memories into your golden years.

Accessibility copies of the speech notes will be available.
