The Geospatial Skills and Analytical Tools (GSAT) Club and the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (I.N.M.M.) MIIS Chapter will be hosting a join event on April 28, between 2-4 pm, at the MIIS PacLab (CF442). The event will consist of a competition involving the identification of locations using satellite imagery, ground-based photography, and open-source tools and methods. Prior to the competition a short explanation of skills and tools will be provided.

This competition is intended to help students view the world from a different perspective and provide students with an introduction to geospatial skills and tools with cross-disciplinary applications. These applications include identification of proliferation sensitive sites, maritime domain awareness, urban planning, and sustainable development. Please contact GSAT Club or INMM Club for questions about this event.
