Sustainability Council is hosting its last Nine Lives Swap for the semester! Bring clean, gently used items you no longer need (clothes, kitchenware, supplies) and take what’s useful to you. Let’s share resources, reduce waste, and make sustainability simple together!
Holland Courtyard
As the semester is coming to an end, the Pickleball Club is planning to host a pickleball tournament with Munras Residential Housing on May 3 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Monterey High School Tennis Courts. After the games, we will enjoy ice cream and popsicles together. This is a casual and fun event, and all skill levels are welcome! Ice cream and popsicles will be provided for participants.
Off Campus MIIS related event
Come and bounce your stress away on the Simoneau Lawn! We will also have lawn games set up for those who wish to play cornhole, giant connect four, and giant jenga!
Middlebury Institute Campus
Wind down Earth Week with good vibes, food, and drinks in the MIIS Garden! The food will be vegetarian, with gluten-free options available from Casa del Sazon, and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. There will be guest speakers from Surfrider. Everyone is welcome!

This event will bring the community together for plant planting. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about planting and ecological knowledge through a workshop and practice. The event will take place at Our Green Thumb Garden. All members of the MIIS community are welcome to attend.
