Planet Forward Storytelling Opportunities with Frank Sesno
Faculty, staff, and students: Join us for lunch and discussion with Frank Sesno ‘77 to hear about how students can tap into the incredible resources of Planet Forward. This is a great chance for faculty and staff to understand how Planet Forward resources can support classroom and co-curricular work, and an inside look for students into how they can up their storytelling and publishing skills!
We’ll discuss:
1) publishing on the Planet Forward platform and how that will help students from all disciplines in internships and careers;
2) how to submit stories for Storyfest (the prize this year is to … Greenland!)
3) how to connect to amazing storytelling expeditions to the wilderness or fellowships that Planet Forward is arranging.
Frank Sesno recently became the inaugural Executive Director of George Washington University’s Alliance for a Sustainable Future and is the founder of Middlebury partner organization Planet Forward at George Washington. He is the author of Ask More: The Power of Questions to Open Doors, Uncover Solutions and Spark Change, former CNN White House Correspondent, anchor, DC Bureau Chief and Middlebury College Trustee Emeritus.
