French Language School alumna Carolyn “Cookie” Tager speaks from her own experience with the World Bank and FBI and facilitates an engaging conversation about building an international career: Learn what makes an international career “international” (and no, it’s not just working in a different country!), explore some professional fields where language is a critical component to your marketability, and examine how you can acquire experience while a student that will promote your strengths to different career audiences.

The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to seriously ill children and their families throughout the Northeast, free of charge. Learn about many possibilities after earning a History major – from History alumni themselves! Middlebury alums will be on campus discussing their career paths and offering on advice on the options for students majoring in History They can help you answer the question, “What can I do with my liberal arts major or degree?” The History Field Guide will feature an alumni panel, followed by an informal reception. You’ll have the chance to connect with alumni, faculty, and other students.

The High Mountain Institute is an outdoor-oriented educational non-profit located in Leadville, CO. HMI’s Apprentice Program offers college graduates the unique opportunity to explore teaching both wilderness education and traditional academics in Leadville, Colorado. As an instructor on multi-week backpacking expeditions and an assistant teacher in a high school classroom, you have the opportunity to positively impact your students while earning invaluable personal experience.

The High Meadows Fund is hiring an Environmental Philanthropy Associate. High Meadows promotes vibrant communities and a healthy natural environment while encouraging long term economic vitality in Vermont. We believe it is urgent that Vermonters address climate change head-on by both lowering their contribution to a warming planet, and adapting to the ways climate disruption is threatening Vermont’s communities and working landscape.

Recognizing the rush of appointments around registration time, this past Spring we piloted a joint Pre-Med Society/Health Professions pizza event at Bi Hall. In a relaxed atmosphere, we met with 37 students to answer course questions, discuss summer plans, MCAT timing, the Committee process, etc. We are currently preparing handouts for several of the common advising topics (When should I apply?
