Come to the MiddVote general interest meeting to learn how to get involved with MiddVote, Middlebury’s non-partisan organization working to increase voter participation on campus and in the Addison County community. Snacks provided. All are welcome!

An evening of inspiration, learning, and community for members and coordinators of all Center for Community Engagement organizations that work with youth (Community Friends, DREAM, Sister to Sister, Brother to Brother, MiddCAM, MiddROC, NOM, MiddWild, and Page One Literacy Project).

The Summit’s goals are to:
+ Build networks across these impactful groups
+ Share student, community, and faculty resources and best practices in one place through a range of workshops appropriate for new and experienced members

In this performance and artist talk, the renowned artistic duo better known as Las Nietas de Nonó will share the visceral motivations of their creative work and artistic practices in recent struggles for equity, visibility, and political change in Puerto Rico and beyond. 

Ilustraciones de la Mecánica takes up the history of medical experimentation and the pharmaceutical industry in Puerto Rico. It considers in particular the violence inflicted on Black women’s bodies in the name of medical research.
