We will close the day of Yom Hashosh (Holocaust Remembrance Day) with a ceremony remembering those who were killed in the Holocaust and those who survived—using poetry, music, and personal stories. All are welcome.

SASA and Hillel will convene on Batell Beach Thursday 17th March to commemorate the festivals of Holi and Purim. We’ll have some color powder to play with. Make sure to wear clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty!

This weekend, to celebrate Purim, Hillel is hosting a Hamantaschen-making event in the FIC. It is a great oppourtunity to connect with your fellow Hillel members and will be rewarded with a tasty snack to take home afterwards.

11AM Sunday at the FIC Jewish centre. All Students Welcome!

Challah is a traditional Jewish bread eaten on Friday nights for Shabbat. Come make your own challah loaf from scratch! Open to all students, but especially Baby Febs!

Hey all! Hillel is hosting an event on Friday afternoon. We hope to use it as a function to onboard our awesome new febs and anyone else who may be interested in joining the Hillel community! We’re going to be hanging out, braiding some challah, and having a good time all-round. We do hope you can make it:)  Challah, will not be consumed at this event.
