The Student Council DEI Committee in collaboration with the Sustainability Impact Lab, MIIS Library, Student Services and the KWD Collaborative in Conflict Transformation present the second BIPOC Voices at MIIS speaker event: Ohlone Sisters: Social Justice Through the Eyes of the Native. This moderated question and answer session will be offered in the Irvine Auditorium and via Zoom from 5pm to 6:30pm Pacific.

In this Learning Circle, we will continue our collective process to create a Land Acknowledgement for the MIIS campus. Join the Ohlone Sisters (Costanoan Rumsen Carmel Tribe), MIIS Student Council DEI Committee, CoLab, and Middlebury College administrators for this meaningful conversation. The learning circle will highlight a range of community voices, including the perspectives shared by the Ohlone Sisters in the Spring 2022 Land Acknowledgement Conversation and recent work by the MIIS Student Council DEI Committee and CoLab.
