Workshop for F-1 Students: Curricular Practical Training (CPT)

Are you a second or third semester F-1 student and looking for an internship this summer? If you are completing your second or third semester of study and are required to enroll in courses in the fall, you may be eligible to apply for Curricular Practical Training (CPT). This workshop will provide information about eligibility for CPT, the application process, as well as provide information on how to maintain status. Please join me for the workshop to learn more!

Watsonville Wetlands Watch Field Trip

This will be a field trip to visit the Watsonville Wetlands Watch facility. We will carpool from MIIS, departing at 10 am and returning no later than 1:30 pm. The Executive Director will take us on a hiking tour of the site and talk to us about the organization’s history and mission, as well as general wetland principles. If interested in attending, students should RSVP to Steffanie Munguia (smunguia@miis.edu).
