They will analyze how their time is currently spent, review time-wasters and set new priorities based on their values and goals. Participants will also learn how to combat procrastination and develop a personal action plan that takes into account the balance and achievement of academic, career and personal goals.

Come learn valuable tools for facilitating social change. Theater of the Oppressed is an arsenal of theater techniques and games that seeks to humanize people, and create space for participants to rehearse taking action. It begins with the idea that everyone has the capacity to act in the “theater” of our lives; everybody is at once an actor and a spectator. We are all spect-actors! The intensive workshop will take place on Saturday and then on Sunday we will lead a facilitation addressing a local issue here at MIIS.

The relationship between these two fields is often underplayed or even illustrated as being in confict.
