INMM is traveling to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory to visit scientific facilities and gain an understanding of career prospects with the Department of Energy.

We are having another INMM Chapter meeting, please stop by so that we can discuss what we have done so far and what we would like to do for the rest of the semester. If you have not been to a meeting yet, we are the club that is interested in all things nuclear.

The MIIS Institute of Nuclear Material Management (INMM) Student Chapter will be having our first meeting of the semester! Please stop by if you are interested in all things nuclear, you geek out about reactor designs, your family is tired of you talking to them endlessly about North Korea’s missile program, or you just want to see what we are about. We will be setting our plans for the semester so please come with ideas of things you would like to do or are interested in.

The MIIS INMM Student Chapter is hosting a Cibo’s Happy Hour! Come stop by Cibo’s Restaurant and we can talk about nuclear things over drinks.

Hello Monterey Mafia!! We are very excited to announce the inaugural INMM Happy Hour! With 3 dollar drinks, including an INMM special called the “Dirty Bomb,” and a great way to kick off your Cinco de Mayo celebration! The Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM) is the largest professional organization for nuclear materials management, members serve in organizations like the Department of State, Energy, Defense, and the International Atomic Energy Agency.

This is a general meeting of INMM overviewing the activities this semester, which include either a trip to Diablo Canyon Nuclear Generating Station or Vandenberg AFB.

First inaugural fundraiser at Cibos featuring well drinks Beer and Wine $3 all night long. We look forward to seeing you!

We will be touring the NIF facility at LLNL. Unfortunately only those who sent in their security forms in time will be able to attend.

The Geospatial Skills and Analytical Tools (GSAT) Club and the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (I.N.M.M.) MIIS Chapter will be hosting a join event on April 28, between 2-4 pm, at the MIIS PacLab (CF442). The event will consist of a competition involving the identification of locations using satellite imagery, ground-based photography, and open-source tools and methods.

This will be the first meeting on the Institute for Nuclear Materials Management Club at MIIS. We will be electing executive officers and reviewing information for a tour of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, specifically the ignition facility where nuclear fusion takes place. The tour will be in Livermore, California and will occur on Tuesday, March 29 at 8:30AM. We are looking into the possibility of a shuttle. There will be pizza at the general meeting, hope to see everyone.
