Connections Club Meeting

During the meeting, we will discuss an upcoming volunteer opportunity hosted by a team of various environmental groups called “Earth Day, Marina!”. We will also discuss the “Who am I: Identifying your place in the community” conference tentatively planned for April 30, 2016. Hope to see you there!

During the meeting, we will discuss an upcoming volunteer opportunity hosted by a team of various environmental groups called “Earth Day, Marina!”. The volunteer event will occur on Saturday, April 16th, so this meeting will cover any last minute details. We will also discuss the “Who am I: Identifying your place in the community” conference tentatively planned for April 30, 2016. Hope to see you there!

Slavic Club presents: Force Majeure Band (Nick Lambson and Olga Melnikova) Nick will play 4 instruments (piano, guitar, balalaika and accordion). Olga will sing in 4 languages (English, Russian, French and Spanish).

The Student Council, Sustainability Council, and Big Sur Land Trust are jointly hosting a community service event on the Marks Ranch property next to Toro County Park. Please note that the time reflected on the calendar does not include travel time.

Come meet with vendors and organizations that are part of the Monterey Bay Community. A wide variety of community resources will represented including, grocery stores, gyms, non-profits, and recreational activities.

Student Services is looking for volunteers to facilitate the two-hour Community Building sessions during New Student Orientation this Fall. Volunteers are required to attend a training session, and will co-facilitate a group incoming students from a mix of programs. This meeting is by invitation only.
