Sponsored by:
MIIS- Student Affairs
Middlebirdy invites you to an exciting birding adventure at Marks Ranch in Salinas! This wonderful field trip is hosted by the Monterey Audubon Society (MAS) and Big Sur Land Trust (BSLT). The outing will be led by a knowledgeable birder, allowing us to identify and learn more about our local birds. Located off of Highway 68 just north of Toro Park, Marks Ranch is named after Benjamin and Nisene Marks (after whom the state park was named), and was once an egg production ranch. The land and many of the original features are now preserved by the Big Sur Land Trust.
